We are excited to welcome Pedro Urbina to the Plaza Santillana neighborhood!
Pedro is passionate about language teaching and language learning. He began his career teaching history and ESL, and moonlighting for a community newspaper. His colorful career includes helping to establish a start-up language developer in the early 90s and traveling all over Mexico and Guatemala to write about tourism. Over the years he has been editor of numerous language textbook programs and has headed-up language departments at three major textbook developers. He is currently Executive Editor at Santillana. Pedro holds a B.A. in Spanish and History from Tufts University, with a strong concentration in International Relations.
