Hispanic Heritage Month Contest Winner! – Free Resources for Spanish Teachers

Congratulations to Ms. Beatriz Urrejola & her students from Morningside Middle School in North Charleston, SC! She has won a Personajes del mundo hispánico collection for submitting the BEST pictures of her classroom celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!

Ms. Urrejola couldn’t take her students to Chile to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, so she brought Chile to them! They celebrated Chile’s Independence Day by dancing the national dance, La Cueca, and playing with the Chilean traditional toy, El Emboque. We love this unique take on Hispanic Heritage Month and would like to thank Ms. Urrejola for sharing the celebration with all of us here on Plaza Santillana! To view all of the pictures, click here.
